Blackbeard's real name was Edward Teach.

Additional thing: the Turing test is a test proposed by Alan Turing to test whether or not an AI can pass as a human.

I am a lover of rap battles and obscure history so I am wondering if you caught/knew about (I hope you don't take this as an insult, but these are things I just know a lot about, because I am a nerd and know very specific things about these rap battles.):

In battle 1 they referenced Blackbeard's penchant for keeping lighted wicks in his hat, hair, and beard for intimidation purposes. You also seemed to ignore Al Capone's syphilis, Capone's pun on Blackbeard's real name (Edward Teach), and the mention of the Queen Anne's Revenge's armament. Also scurvy was common among all sailors not just pirates. You also seemed to ignore a lot of Blackbeard's history in your reaction. Side note: they mentioned Sloop John B in the rap. Which is a Beach Boys song.

In battle 2: tooooo many references. I like music. I am a music nerd so I could write an essay on this battle. I want to, but not here. I will point out that the Amadeus line was awesome but I liked the lyric about monsters and sprites too.

In battle 3: Bill Gates wins because I blame Steve Jobs for all the wrongs in modern computer tech. He made everything proprietary and it's thought that he set computer innovation back years by doing that. Basically for every year between Apple releasing the first home computer and HP(? IBM?) releasing their version and making their specs publicly available, it is predicted that Apple set computer innovation back by (IIRC) 2-5 years. Basically Steve Jobs is why we don't have flying cars and I hate him for it. Also every Apple product is overpriced. You can get something better for like half the price. Literally everything in the latest IPhone has been in a Samsung for years. To refer to Jobs' cancer, apparently he had the one curable form of pancreatic cancer if caught and treated early. It was caught early but Jobs tried to treat it "naturally" and when he finally relented to recommended treatment it was too late. Which is unfortunate. And when HAL came in he represented Linux. Or at least *nix(nux). Like the lyric "I'm in your lap and in your pocket" non-Windows laptops, tablets, phones, etc are *nix(nux) based and many other systems are based on those same systems. Then he referenced a lot of the things that run on Linux. It's so good.

Job's ended up being a fruitarian, and died of pancreatic cancer.... So uh yes, his diet and beliefs in medicine certainly accelerated it, if not caused it.

Cancer's favorite food is glucose, and fruit is the most sugary food we eat naturally. It's such a problem that cancer patients (even in remission) are instructed to cut sugar from their diets as much as possible... Newer modern cancer treatments are looking into blocking glucose uptake, directly from cancers.

So if you have cancer, being a fruitarian is kind of asking for it. You are correct about the relation with that and his death. Holistic medicine probably didn't help because real doctors would have told him to cut that fruit shit and hit him treatment

I love Skrillex but Mozart wrecked him! By the way Skrillex isn't irrelevant he still has music he is producing and beats he is making for modern musicians!

I hate the you would pause the video and like talk for 2 minutes and then just resume it without rewingding it by at least a couple of seconds because you have the possibility of losing a train of thought when you simply resume the video. You missed a number of bars pal.

turing test is a test to see if a random person can tell if a machine is conscious or not. It's a bit more complicated than that but basically.

Oh, Mr. Terry. I do not know if you will read this comment, but when it comes to modern symphonies trying to approach the level of Mozart, Beethoven etc etc, I think Adagio In Gm comes close. It has been partially attributed to Tomaso Albinoni but it is most likely a 20th Century composition and if it is, it is BRILLIANT. When I first heard it in the 6th grade in my World History class when watching Gallipoli and it stuck with me for YEARS. It was amazing how when I found a classical music CD that my mother's friend let me have as she was moving back to Canada. When I was previewing the songs on the cd, the instant I heard the song, I got those chills I got as a kid. And even after 15 years without hearing it, I STILL REMEMBERED IT NOTE FOR NOTE! If I am honest, it is by favorite composition of all time.

OK, I know of Mozart because of my school. Beyond that, I don't think I have ever heard of him natively. So... Honestly, I'd give that point to skrillex. Mozart still wins, but it is still kinda valid to me.

I'm sure you've looked it up but the Turing test is a test to determine if AI can think like a human.
