Theory 1
rick has stated and it has been demonstrated that ricks and morties have complementary brain waves. Thing is, c137 morty is changing to be more assertive. So is it possible that c137 rick is more depressed due to this fact that the waves are complimentary?

Theory 2
morty is changing a ton mentally in the span of the show, he is becomeing more assertive. I think rick allowed that.Before, when ever morty got assertive rick would put a stop to it like when he tazzed morty in the Purge ep. It is important then he stay the same so he could use mortys brain waves to hide. Now with the fall of the galactic gov and cinidl, rick dose not need that anymore. Now what rick dose not know is that the cinidel is being rebuilt, by evil morty.

There is no possible way he could have predicted that. We have seen evil morty outsmart rick in the past. This is a big problem bc evil morty is directly related to c137 rick in some way. i think evil morty will find rick without morties complimentary brain waves.
