Brad and Babish Make Kombucha Miso BBQ Sauce | It's Alive | Bon Appétit

Bon Appétit Test Kitchen Manager Brad Leone is back for Episode 33 of "It's Alive." He's joined by chef, filmmaker, and friend of the show Andrew Rea from Binging with Babish. Together they make a kombucha and miso infused BBQ sauce in the kitchen before heading over to Brad's backyard to cook up some ribs.

Babby and Brad are cool together but i feel that they would have more fun and be more entertaining to do sort of adventure learning or getting something through like the cocoa episode where its acquiring an ingredient, like hunting either small or big game (it would be really cool to see big game like a bear or boar cuz it could be another bbq like or something pickled to cut the gaminess) or fishing or gathering a plant like vanilla would be cool I think its just farmed but y'know I don't really know the process or honestly what the vanilla plant looks like or the sort of environment it needs to grow. Also chris or claire with Babby would be cool too and y'know like their own spin Chris could try to blind tast remake test and make a Babish dish like the Ube Chris does his thing in tasty kitchen then Babish shows him on his show but maybe a new dish maybe not. Claire and Babish could do some sort of recreate challenge together and all around just more collaboration between Youtube cook shows is a great thing to see two chefs connect and share ideas and have fun doing it.

13:29 I'm impressed they showed an actual Mirage F1 and not some random fighter jet.

One time for Thanksgiving, we were opening a can of yams and there was nothing but liquid and a thin inch-tall layer of yam goo at the bottom. So. Sometimes ya gotta have your backup cans!

I made the best pumpkin seeds I've ever made a couple weeks ago and didn't write the recipe down. All I remember is that I boiled them in salt brine and canned then for a few hours, then dried them out and used some coriander and chili powder, then tossed them in olive oil and baked them, then tossed them in honey and some black pepper and finished baking. So nice
